This provision is a brilliant fringe benefit, which will draw and keep competent faculty. Offering faculty members a daycare facility allows our lecturers to feel contented knowing their young ones are nearby. The campus can offer this tranquility without cost or accountability to the university. I propose that a space be provided on campus for a childcare service, which will offer the opportunity to measure the demand and need for such a provision within campus to enhance attendance, retention, as well as students’ graduation rates, and dependability and retention of staff and faculty. Additionally, the provision can offer employment and constructive work expertise for student personnel, complementing academic programs within Elementary Education, and Social Work (Melhuish & Moss 45). Why a Childcare is needed? The university population is growing rapidly. On top of the three babies belonging to teaching staff members, four of the faculty members are currently expectant. Pro: Immediate action; structures already available; simple logistics Con: Nonexistence of Quality Control; a makeshift measure in the most favorable view Solution 2) The University can construct a new day care facility on university grounds in collaboration with an external vendor, economically encompassing of both faculty and staff, unallied with whichever religious organization, and varied in terms of class, race, and ethnicity. Pro: Minimizes University costs; faster start-up with constructions belonging to a skilled contractor as well as educational contributor already in position; encompassing of all personnel; diversity; appropriate for all campus students and employees. Con: Expensive; space concerns in respect to building; there might be an absence of quality control; could be more intricate in relation to governance accord with outside vendor dealings on university property; might need sliding coaching scale.
