The architects are able to meet during the festival and show case their innovations in order to promote the growth and development of architecture in Sydney and Australia. Highly talented architects usually display their innovative designs during the festival. The members of the public who attend the festival are also able to learn about the architectural design. This plays an essential role in attracting a high number of people to the profession. The festival plays an important role in terms of enabling the community to participate and enjoy the history and architecture of Sydney (Tam, 2014). Innovations are highly valued in architecture for the purposes of solving different challenges such as sustainability. The festival therefore encourages environmental sustainability through promoting innovations. The festival has received a lot of support from different stakeholders including the members of the public. The paper critically discusses the Sydney Architecture Festival in relation to how it influences the discipline of architecture as well as the contributions that it has made in architecture. Conclusion In conclusion, it is evident that the Sydney Architecture Festival has played an important role promoting innovations and growth of architecture. The festival enables the members of the public to obtain information about different architectural concepts and innovations. A lot of emphasis is being placed on sustainability and environmental protection. It is evident that the festival is also utilizes films and documentaries for the purposes of enabling the members of the public to understand the innovative architectural designs. It is also evident that the festival has received a lot of positive ratings from different participants. The architectural history has played an important role in the development of the festival.
