With reference to the case, it can be viewed that each of the individuals assigned with the task has their own motivational factor. For instance, Bjorn Sorgenfeldt who was sent to the Ministry of Transportation's as an in-charge believed that spending time each evening to review the day findings would help in preparing, analyzing and developing new ideas that would help in completing the task within the allotted time period. This can be treated as his motivator. With respect to Eduardo Caballero, who was the major technical specialist in the project, liked interacting with the people which can be considered as his motivator factor.

Aziz Tanod, an Indonesian economist liked talking for long and chat with his fellow mates which can be considered as the motivator factor for him. Bernard Dupre, a French financial analyst mainly focused on completing his task, in spite of building social contacts which can be attributed as his motivator factor. . It was viewed that the local people were more concerned about the accessibility to a main thoroughfare as a route rather than considering the aspects of terrain. Conflict was created by Differing Motivational Factors The aspect of conducting meetings at the day end created conflicts arising from differing motivational factors.

Additionally, it was also observed that Aziz felt Bjorn was less concerned with the main mission and wasted much of the time in building social contacts. Different Mission Team Members Fit In Maslow's Hierarchy With respect to the activity performed by Bjorn, he fits best in the love/belonging needs in Maslow's Hierarchy. Edurado fits best in esteem needs as he is mainly focus on completing his task through social buildings. Similar to Bjorn, Aziz can be observed to fits best in love/belonging needs in Maslow's Hierarchy as he too likes building social contacts.

Raj and John best fits in esteem needs as they are more focused on completing their task (Cengage Learning, 2013). Motivational Profiles of Each of the Mission Team Members Considering McClelland's Theory, Bjorn can be categorized in the affiliation profile. Similarly, Eduardo, Raj and John can be categorized in the achievement profile as they are more focused on completing their task and attain their goal. While Aziz and Bernad can be categorized in the power profile as they tend to stick to their job role and aims at completing it strictly within the specified time (Boyatzis, 2000).
