They used such knowledge both for survival and expansion of the Bantu culture in different parts of Africa. Being recognized as an advanced culture during the early African history, the said group is considered to be the origin of the organized communities which were established into kingdoms through the course of the history (Martin and OMeara, 1995). In terms of the patterns of authority that had developed through the early history in Africa, a centralized power anointed through hereditary means is the most prevalent leadership.

The union of different communities to a leader was established into organized kingdoms with independent judicial and revenue systems and specialized roles of the elders and women in the population (Martin and OMeara, 1995). The rich culture of the African people can be traced back to the strong tradition of intergroup relations and external contacts with people of other cultures and nations.
