At the outset, the sender (one who wants to communicate) encodes his idea in any of his preferred (or suitable for the case) medium. The encoded idea is then received by the recipient (one who is communicated). The recipient decodes the idea and understands the intended message. Consequently, they are having lesser time for their valued relationships. Also it is supposed that the youngsters who stay online for major part of the day are more prone to psychological problems and are found to be more depressed than their peers. The prime cause of such popularity of social sites is the information boom. Today as people always try to stay tuned with the latest happenings around the globe, apart from other mediums, they also use the online social forums to stay in touch with their near and the dear ones. People always long for recognition and they can achieve it through the social networks. Also, the online circuits of social networking are matching up with the taste and preferences of the end-user. They are allowing other facilities like uploading of video or photo on space of the customer. Apart from the social networking, there are several other sites providing opportunities to the end user to fulfill their desires and expectations. YouTube is such a website, where one can easily upload videos of their choice and share with the whole world. Also one can download videos from it. Blogs (a sort of online diary) have also been rising to increased popularity. The blogger (one who writes in a blog) can share any and every matter of his choice on the internet. The others can also participate in the blog as they can post their views over the article. Apart from online networking, information has also proved to be very crucial for the present day business. The decision makers should stay well informed till the last stage of the decision making process. Any sort of information available at the concluding stage might change the entire flow of decision making. Also it is the duty of the business houses to keep the end users and the stakeholders aware about the latest happenings related to their company. In this way, the company might hope to keep them satisfied and retain them. Information also plays vital part in the internal process of the company.
